FAO Schwarz

The original aesthetic helped pave the way for the grand reopening of the iconic FAO Schwarz in Winter 2018. At Chute Gerdeman we focused on enhancing Rockefeller Center’s unique architecture. Through thoughtful design, the space unfolds as the guest wanders deeper into the store, with surprises around every corner. From the guest with the major sweet tooth, to the learning toddler, there is something at FAO Schwarz for everyone.

 
 
 

Krispy Kreme Flagship Store

At Chute Gerdeman, we helped launch a one-of-a-kind
New York flagship that brings the iconic doughnut theater experience to life on the world’s stage. Highlighting the end-to-end doughnut-making process, the journey through the space gives customers a glimpse into how their tasty treats come to be, complete with mouthwatering glaze waterfall. This flagship store holds the world’s largest Hot Now light which signals the Times Square masses, 24 hours a day, that hot and fresh doughnuts await. Patrons can enjoy that first melt-in-your mouth bite of a warm Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnut.

 
 
 

HMS HOST

HMS Host is the world’s largest provider of food and beverage services for travelers. At Chute Gerdeman, local restaurants, breweries and vendors are taken from their street side locations and reimagined to fit perfectly in an airport concourse or highway travel stop. By designing with each space’s current brand presence in mind, the guest is sure to have the same great experience they know and love.
